We join the project team at the beginning in order to input all the necessary and sometimes forgotten details that make the difference between a good project and a fantastic project.

We work with the design team from initial review to materials and equipment specifications, producing budgets and Bills of Quantities, from tendering and purchase order issuance to handover and installation. Our competence comprises allOperating Supplies & Equipment together with all Furniture Fixtures & Equipment.

Who We Are

Established in 2003 as Tibken Associates, we are a boutique Procurement Agency based in Bangkok, Thailand and Bali, Indonesia. Our founder is Mr. Peter Tibken, who gained his initial experience working in purchasing management for5-star hotels.

As Project Director, Jo Chaninahrak has successfully steered the company from success to success with unbridled experience in the processing and execution of the supply of all the necessary goods to open your hotel.

Our associate, Mr. James Newbould, has a wealth of experience in the design sourcing, production and installation of furniture and hospitality products. He works closely with the designers and the factories to ensure absolute quality. He enables clients to benefit from many years of experience in producing furnishings and art in many different countries around Asia and beyond.  

Tibken Associates was originally founded in Germany and after successful accomplishment of multiple 5 stars Hotels over a period of 20 years, Peter found an opportunity to expand his business and experience into South East Asia by setting up companies in both Indonesia and Thailand.

Currently being spearheaded by the management team; Christopher James Newbound and Jo Chaninahrak, Tibken & Co., has over 20 years of combined expertise in this industry. Working closely alongside investors and owners, Tibken & Co., provides boutique consultancy services, ensuring the highest standards are met within budget of every project.

By offering hands-on selections right from materials, equipment’s to every supplier, our boutique-sized agency is our strong suite, allowing seamless communication and transparency as we’ll be working directly with you, as partners in the project together.

Who I Am


Initially educated in Electrical Engineering, Jo became
a Procurement Consultant in the Hospitality in order to take on wider horizons and more challenges. Jo started her career as an Executive Assistant in a 5-star Hotel in
the South of Thailand and later moved to Bangkok to begin her first project as a Procurement Consultant, commencing this with the stunning Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok Team.

After a successful completion of this milestone, multiple projects began rolling in. Jo has been involved in the launch of many luxury branded hotels, having completed projects in several countries outside Thailand including Indonesia, UAE, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Boutique Hotels are also a part of Tibken & Co., successful project portfolio, including one in Koh Samui, Thailand and Siem Reap, Cambodia. We’ve successfully serviced more than 20 projects around world and are confident to guarantee our reputation as Tibken & Co. to all partners who need dependable Procurement Consultancy.
